D1, Fly from KL to Chengdu.

arrive Chengdu in the evening, Have rest in hotel.


D2, Chengdu—Xining—Tibet Train. 

Take morning flight from Chengdu to Xining, have lunch in Xining, and then board on late afternoon train to Lhasa. Train will drive from Xining to Germud at night time. 


D3, Tibet Train—Lhasa. 

Train start to climb over Kunlun Mountain pass in the morning, you will have unique chance to see the no man land Kekexili in the day time in the comfortable high air pressure cabin. Grass land, Snow Mountains and lot’s of animals will full fill your memory card. Train will arrive Lhasa in the afternoon and then transfer to hotel to have rest to get use to the altitude.


D4, Lhasa. 

Today we will continue our cultural exploration of Tibet. We will visit Dalai Lama’s summer palace—Luobulinka in the morning, experience Tibetan style garden art. We will visit Jokhang Temple in the afternoon. Jokhang Temple which was built in the 7th century and enshrined with the statue of Sakyamuni which the Princess Wencheng brought to Lhasa., has been a key center for Tibetan Buddhist pilgrimage for centuries. Afterwards, you could wander around the famous Bakhor Street.


D5, Lhasa. 

We will visit Potala Palace in the morning. The Palace is widely known for the precious sculptures, murals, scripture, Buddha figures, murals, antiques, and religious jewelry treasured up, they are of great cultural and artistic value. In 1994, the Potala Palace was declared the United Nations World Cultural Heritage site.In the afternoon, we will visit Sera Monastery, one of the six main monasteries of the Gelugpa of the Tibetan Buddhism. As one of the three main monasteries of Lhasa, it is here that the monks “famous daily debates” take place.


D6, Lhasa—Nangselin lord residence—Zedang—Sangye Monastery—Qingpu—Zedang. 

We will start in the morning drive from Lhasa to Shannan, visit Nangselin old lord residence on the way. After that, we are going to visit Sangye Monastery—one of the biggest three Geluba monastery in Tibet, which was designed follow the Buddhism idea of universe, with Tibetan, Chinese and India three style buildings. And then we will visit Qingpu—the holy land where many famous ancient monks meditate. We will back to Zedang in the late afternoon and stay there overnight.


D7, Zedang—Yongbulakang –Minzhulin Monastery—Gongga.

In the morning, we will visit Yongbulakang, the first fortress and palace of Tibetan Kings, was firstly built in 200BC by the first Tibetan King Sepudezan. It was used as summer palace for following Kings and then was change into a Monastery during 5th Dalai Lama in 17 century AD. After that, we drive to visit the mystery Ningma ba Tibetan Buddhist temple Minzhulin monastery, fully enjoy the deep Tibetan culture and beautiful view in Shannan. Drive to Gongga county in the late afternoon and stay there overnight.


D8, Gongga---Yamdrok Lake—Gyantze. 

Leave Zedang in the early morning, visit the beautiful Yamdrok Lake en route. Yamdrok Lake also called Yamdrok Yumtso, is one of the three largest sacred lakes in Tibet. Enjoy the scenery of the lake and the snow-capped mountains around the lake. We will arrive Gyantze in the late afternoon. Enjoy the Gyantze Fort, one of the best preserved dzongs in Tibet. Stay in Gyantze overnight. 


D9, Gyantze—Shigartze. 

Visit Pelkor Chode Monastery in the early morning. The Pelkhor Choede, also called “the Ten Thousand Buddha Pagodas” is the most famous architecture in the monastery, also believed as the largest one in Tibet. After the visit, we would head toward Shigartze. Visit Tashlunpo Monastery in the afternoon, as one of the six holiest monasteries of Gelukpa, it is the traditional seat of successive Panchen Lamas.


D10, Shigazte—Tibetan dog base—Lhasa. 

We will head back to Lhasa today, visit Tibetan dog feeding center on the way. We will back to Lhasa in the late afternoon, visit Medicine Buddha Mountain after arrive Lhasa, and stay there overnight. 


D11,Lhasa—Namucuo Lake—Dangxiong. 

We are going to visit the most beautiful heavenly plateau lake—Namucuo Lake, which is 4700m above sea leave, is one of the highest lake in the world, surrounded by snow covered Tanggula mountains. After a relax time on the lake side, we will heading back to Dangxiong and stay there overnight.


D12, Dangxiong—Lhasa, 

We will heading back to Lhasa in the morning, after lunch in Lhasa, we are going to visit Tibet Museum in the afternoon. You will have chance to see many remarkable treasures of ancient Tibet. Free evening in Lhasa, don’t miss your last chance to enjoy the fantastic night view of holy Potala. 


D13: Lhasa—Chengdu—Hailuogou. 

Take morning flight from Lhasa to Chengdu. Drive to Ya’an to have lunch after airport pick up, continue drive to Moxi town beside Hailuogou Glacier Park in the afternoon. Enjoy beautiful landscape of Dadu River valley on the way, stay in Moxi town overnight.


D14, Hailuogou Glacier Park day trip. 

We will take green bus and cable car up to the camp 2 of Glacier park, get close to this massive glacier on the Mt. Gongga (7556m)—the King of Sichuan Mountains. Enjoy hot spring beside the glacier camp after visit. Stay overnight in Moxi town. 


D15, Hailuogou—Yanzigou—Moxi. 

Whole day visit new developed Yanzigou valley, where was the base camp of mountaineering teams to climb Mt. Gongga. Ancient glacier, beautiful flowers and red stone beach are very nice and special. After visit Yanzi valley, we will go back to Moxi town to rest, stay overnight in Moxi. 


D16, Moxi—Ya’an—Chengdu. 

Drive from Moxi town to Chengdu in the morning. We will arrive Chengdu in the afternoon, visit Jinli Old Street, and have Chengdu hotpot for dinner. Watching Sichuan opera and mask changing show in the evening, stay overnight in Chengdu. 


D17, Chengdu. 

Free morning in Chengdu to walking around Chunxi road, after lunch transfer to Chengdu airport and take afternoon flight back to KL.
