Day1, Departure from KL by MAS or AA flight to Beijing
Day 2, Arrive Beijing,gets on train in the evening.
Arrive in Beijing in the morning from KL at 2:00 am, transfer to hotel to have rest. Freetime to shopping in the afternoon in downtown Beijing preparing for train. In the evening your rail journey begins, as you transfer to the train station and depart for Mongolia aboard a chartered Chinese train. You reach at the border city - Erlian in approximately 16 hours, on the following day. You spend night aboard the train. (BLD)
Day3,CROSSING THE GOBI DESERT
Around noon you reach the Chinese-Mongolian border, where you aboard to the Tsar’s Gold private train. The change of trains is necessary because of the different track gauges in the two countries. In the growing city of Erlian, you have some time to explore the colorful local market, before your train sets off to Mongolia. After crossing sections of the legendary Gobi Desert, the train travels through the vast green steppes of Mongolia. You spend the night aboard the train. (BLD)
Day4,ULAN BATOR: Mongolian Yurt
Early-risers are treated with central Mongolia’s spectacular scenery. In the morning you arrive in UlanBator, the capital of Mongolia. You can leave your large luggage securely in your room. Arrive Mongolian capital Ulan Bator in the morning, and then take 70km/h bus ride to the Telereji National park. Enjoy beautiful landscape in the national park, ride horse and then stay in the Mongolian yurt, watch nice sunset in the national park. This is a rare experience and a dream come true for nature lovers. (BLD)
Day5,THE GANDAN MONASTERY AND UlAN BATOR CITY
Drive back from National park in the morning, visit Mongolian nomadic tribes on the meadow, and try local milk food. Back to Ulan Bator after lunch,visit Suhe Bator square, Dandan Monastery, National history museum, Genghis Khan Palace and see full view of Ulan Bator on the Saiyin Mountain. Enjoy traditional Mongolian music and dance show in the evening. After that, our train will keep driving towards north Mongolia, arrive at border of Mongolia and Russia (BLD)
Day6,ULAN UDE
Leave off the Mongolian today and travel through the valley of Mongolia’s largest river, the Selenga. You are on the way to Ulan Ude, where your train reaches the main route of the Trans-Siberian Railway. Here you take an informative city tour. You spend the night aboard the train.
Day7. LAKE BAIKAL
Today is exploring the remarkable natural phenomenon of Lake Baikal, the largest reservoir of fresh water in the world. In the morning your train travels directly alongside Lake Baikal, on the old route of the Trans-Siberian Railway. During two extended photo-stops, you have a chance to explore and enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake and and scenery. A short boat excursion from Port Baikal to the lake. Take a swim in the lake, if you wish, and visit a picturesque Baikal village. Dinner is a Baikal style picnic on the lakeshore with a view of the incredible natural surroundings (weather permitting). You spend the night aboard the train.
Day8. IRKUTSK
In the morning, you arrive in Irkutsk, the capital of Eastern Siberia in tsarist times. Here you move into your hotel, which is simple, but great location makes your hanging out convenient . You can safely leave your large baggage on the private train. During your city tour you will see the Okhlopkov Drama Theatre, the new memorial to Tsar Alexander III, and the photogenic market hall. Around noon you pay a worthwhile visit to an open-air museum to focus on life and work of historical Siberia. You spend the night in a nicely located hotel in Irkutsk.
Day9,TRANS-SIBERIA
After breakfast you're aboard the train and pass through the diversiform landscapes of eastern Siberia.The guide will tell you about the region, a vodka with typical Russian snacks is an opportunity to experience Zest hand -the Russian festive customs of hospitality and clever toasts. You spend the night aboard the train.
Day10,NOVOSIBIRSK
Around noon, your train arrives in Novosibirsk, the largest city in Siberia. You are greeted with salt bread in the conventional Russian manner and sightseeing in Soviet along your entire route, including the chance to see the mighty Ob River. You spend the night aboard the train.
Day11. YEKATERINBURG
In the afternoon, your train stops in Yekaterinburg, the capital of the Ural Federal District. The city is known as the place where the Russian tsar Nicholas II and his family were murdered in 1918. During the tour you will see the Cathedral of the Saviour on the Spilled Blood, which was built in 2003 to commemorate that tragic historic event, and the city centre attractively restored in 2009. Back on board, you enjoy views of the Urals landscape and indulge yourself in the restaurant car.Your private train is already rolling across the European continent. You spend the night aboard the train.
Day12, KAZAN
After breakfast you reach Kazan, the Tartar capital on the banks of the Volga. On your tour you see Tartar mosques and the most famous Russian Orthodox cathedral. Also you take a tour of Kazan’s Kremlin, where you learn about the turbulent history and the relationship between the Tartars, the Cossacks, and the Russians. Afterwards you enjoy lunch in a city restaurant. You spend the night aboard the train.
Day13.WELCOME TO MOSCOW
Around noon, you arrive in the Russian capital of Moscow, a thriving, prosperous city,your 4* hotel have a great location . At noon you visit the Kremlin grounds with its magnificent cathedral. Several of the building interiors can also be viewed.After dinner, discover the city’s magic during an hour-long “City of Lights”tour, including a stop at Red Square, and a ride on the underground to view two of Moscow’s particularly beautiful metro stations. You spend the night in a hotel in Moscow.
Day14.TOUR OF MOSCOW AND FLIGHT HOME
After an ample breakfastat at the hotel, your city-tour takes you to the reconstructed Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Lomonossov University, the New Maidens’ Convent(Novodevichy Monastery), and Red Square with its colorful St. Basil’s Cathedral, as well as to the notorious former KGB headquarters and the White House. This marks the end of your memorable journey and it's time to head to the airport. Take flight in the evening and fly back to KL.
Day15,TRANSFER AND ARRIVE KL
We will transfer flight and then back to KL in the afternoon.
