Day 1, Home - Xi'an

Arrive Xi’an at night and then transfer to Xi’an city, stay in Xi’an old city.

Day 2, We are going to visit one of the best museums in China – Shanxihistory museum in the morning, and then visit Yang tomb of Han Dynasty museum. Afterthat, we are going to Baoji, and stay in Baoji city at night. (BLD)

Day 3, We start from Baoji in the morning, going to visit one of fourbiggest grottos in China—Maijishan Grottos. Stay in Tianshui city after thetour. (BLD)

Day 4, We are going to visit Shuiliandong scenic spot and its temples andgrottos. Shuiliandong Grottos is one of the important grotto temples on theancient Silk Road, the building of the grottos start from 5^thcentury and last for more than 700 years until Yuan dynasty. (BLD)

Day 5, We will take a bus ride in the morning directly to Jingtai county,visit Yellow River stone forest national geographic park. After that, we willtake bus to Jingtai County and stay there overnight. (BLD)

Day 6, We will have a morning drive from Jingtai to Wuwei in the morning,after lunch in Wuwei city, we are going to visit Lei Tai Han dynasty tombsmuseum and Confucius temple. We will stay in Wuwei overnight. (BLD)

Day 7, After a morning drive from Wuwei to Zhangye, we will spend rest ofday to visit Zhangye danxia landscape. We will stay overnight in Zhangye atnight. (BLD)

Day 8, We are going to visit Giant Buddha monastery in Zhangye city,and then take 150km bus ride to the Alashan youqi, which located in InnerMongolia. We will visit two layer of great wall which was built in Ming andHang dynasty on the way. Stay in Alashan youqi overnight. (BLD)

Day 9, We will start early in the morning heading to Alashan zuoqi, visitBadan Jaran desert scenic area on the way. Continue drive 5 hours after thatand will arrive Alashan zuoqi in the late afternoon. Enjoy Mongolia hotpot fordinner, and stay overnight in Alashan Meng hotel. (BLD)

Day 10, We leave Alashan meng in the morning heading to Yinchuan, visitGuangzong Monastery and Sanguankou Ming Dynasty great wall relic on the way.Guangzong Monastery is one of the most important Tibetan Buddhism temple inAlashan, 6^th Dalai Lama’s body was worshipping inside the temple.After arrive Yingchuan in the afternoon, we are going to visit Nanguan greatmosque, and then enjoy delicious Ningxia Muslin food. Stay overnight inYingchuan. (BLD)

Day 11, In the morning, we are going to visit King’s Tombs of Xi Xia kingdombeside Yinchuan. After that, we will visit Helan Mountain and the rockpaintings which were found in this region. Those paintings shows us thepictures of the ancient world, some of the strange one was said as the paintingof ancient aliens.  We are going to visitthe plank road at the Helan Mountain Suyukou National Forest Park after that. Witha length of 5300 meters, the path has over 5000 steps and over a height rangeof 1030 meters. The road, bridging the park’s two scenic areas along themountain, is now the longest cliff plank road in western China. (BLD)

Day 12, In the morning, we will visit sand lake, enjoy the lake view withthousands of birds living in the lake. In the afternoon, we are going to visitZhenbeibao film city, this is a ancient fortress on the great wall, and nowchange into the film field. Stay in Yinchuan hotel overnight. (BLD)

Day 13, Visit Shuidonggou great wall defend system and ancient relic ruin inthe morning, experience the very smart design of the defend system with soliderhidden caves and tunnels beside great wall. After lunch, we will take 3 hoursbus ride to Jingbian County. We will stay overnight in Jingbian. (BLD)

Day 14, We are going to visit the holy land of Chinese communist party –Yanan,visit BaoTa mountain, the old headquarter of CCP—Yangjialing and Zaoyuan,experience the history of the Mao and Chow. (BLD)

Day 15, Today, we will drive from Yanan to Xi’an city; visit the Yang tombmuseum of Han dynasty. After arrive Xi’an in late afternoon, free evening forshopping or visit the spots in the old city. If you booked the optional TerracottaMuseum tour, our guide and van will take you directly from Hanyangling Museumto Terracotta. Stay in hotel in the center of Xi’an old city. (BLD)
