D1: Arrive Chengdu(D)

Arrive Chengdu,airport pick up to hotel.

D2: Chengdu—Jiuzhaigou town (BLD)

6 hours drive from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou town, ancient tea-horse trade center between Chinese and Tibetan. On the way, we will visit Dujiangyan irrigation system, 2008 earthquake relic in Yinxiu, Diexi lakes.

D3: Jiuzhaigou National park day tour. (BD)

Whole day to visit the most beautiful Jiuzhaigou national park by green bus. Sink into the great view-wonderful lakes, waterfalls and colorful forests; experience the real fairland. Stay overnight in Jiuzhaigou town.

D4: Jiuzhaigou town—Huanglong—Ruoergai. (BLD)

Today we will go to visit Huanglong national park in the morning,that’s one of the world natural heritage site, and then drive to Ruoergai town where on the middle of grassland and stay there overnight .

D5, Drive from Ruoergai to Markham, visit first bend ofYellow River. (BLD)

This is a picture-taking day; visit the first bend of Yellow River in the morning and then heading to Markham in the afternoon.  The view on the way is fantastic and will kill lots of your photo memory. Blue sky, green grassland, black and white yaks will make you feel your heart flying.

D6, Visit  local old Tibetan lord residence in themorning, drive to Danba County in the afternoon. (BLD)

will stay in a Tibetan family guesthouse in the Danba Tibetan beauty Valley,nice Tibetan residence, towers; friendly Tibetan with traditional dress will fulfill your dream for beauty.

D7, Danba—Bamei—Tagong—Xinduqiao—Yajiang. (BLD)

We will drive from Danba to Bamei, visit red stone beach,Huiyuan Monastery and stupa forest alone the way. After lunch, we drive from Bamei to Tagong and Xinduqiao, spend whole afternoon on the Tagong grassland,visit Tagong monastery, and take picture of Yala holy snow mountain. We will stay in the hotel in Yajiang County.

D8, Yajiang (2600m)—Litang(4010m)—Daocheng—Shangri-laVillage (3740m) (BLD)

Say goodbye to Yajiang, we follow the Chengdu -Tibet highway to the plateau. There are 3 high mountains above 4500m attitude on the way and you can enjoy unique plateau view . We will have pass by Litang—one of the highest town of the world. Then we continue to Daocheng, you can enjoy relic of time-honored glacier on the way. Then we will arrive nice Shangri-la village in the evening.

D9, Shangri-la village—Yading—Shangri-la village, Yading day tour (4100m) (BLD)

After 1 hour drive from Shangri-la village, we go inside the core zone of the last Shangri-la region. In Yading, if weather is good, you can see 3 Tibetan holy mountains which about 6000m attitude in the same time, that’s really amazing view. In summer, you also can meet lots of Tibetan on the way; they go to worship the holy mountains. We will stay in Shangri-la village.

D10, Shangri-la village—Daocheng—Xiangcheng (2920m) (BLD)

We drive from Shangri-la village, pass by beautiful Daocheng town,keep going to Xiangcheng. Xiangcheng is another nice Tibetan county famous for it’s white Tibetan residence and nice temples. We will have break time on the way when we see nice Tibetan villages, you will have chance to take pictures and visit some local people.

D11, Xiangcheng—Shangri-la county (3500m) (BLD)

After climb over some very high mountain, we start drive into Derong sunny valley, and then you can see the valley was merge with another bigger valley with a river in golden color, that’s Yangzte river,the upper part also called golden sand river. Our car will follow the riverside road on the way, you can fully enjoy the view of upper Yangzi. Then we will drive on Yunnan to Tibet road and arrive at Shangri-la County.

D12, Shangeri-la—Tiger leaping gorge, trekking in the gorge (2000m) (BLD)

We will going to visit Songzanlin Monastery in the morning, have Tibetan style lunch in the old town of Shangri-la.Afternoon we will ahead to Tiger leaping gorge, which is the deepest gorge in China, Yangzte River just cut through two 5000m+ snow mountain -Haba and JadeDragon, making  this amazing gorge. We will trekking into the gorge and stay at the local guesthouse in the middle of the gorge.

D13, Trekking in the Tiger leaping gorge—Lijiang (BLD)

We keep trekking through the Tiger leaping gorge, enjoy the fantastic view on the ancient horse trail. After visit the middle gorge, we drive to Qiaotou town and heading back to Lijiang.

D14, Free day in Lijiang. (B)

With nice sunshine and amazing view, we will have a nice relax dayin Lijiang old city. You can have a walk in black dragon pool with Jade Dragonsnow mountain as back ground or just relax in a riverside bar in the old town.
