Day 1, Home – Urumqi 

Fly from home transfer in Xi’an or Chengdu or Guangzhou to Urumqi, airport pick up, andthen transfer to hotel in Urumqi. 

Day 2, Urumqi - Bohu

Morningdrive from Urumqi to Bohu County. Make Photo-stop when over the TianshanMountain views and also the largest wind power generator plant in Asia. We willarrive Bohu County around noon, visit Bositen Lake in the afternoon and stayovernight in Bohu.

Day 3, Bohu - Tiemenguan - Desert Road - Talim River - Luntai

We will leave Bohu in the morning, passby Tiemenguan and Luntai, drive through famousdesert road to the heart of Taklamagan desert to see the Talim River and Populuseuphratica forest nearby. After that, drive through desert road again back to Luntai County and stay there overnight.

Day 4, Luntai - KuchaGorge - KezerGrottos - Kucha

We willleave Luntai in the morning heading to Kucha Gorge. Visit one of the deepestand most mysteries gorge of Tianshan Mountain, and then visit Kezer Grottos inthe afternoon. Back to Kucha in the late afternoon and stay in Kucha overnight.

Day05, Kucha– NARAT GRASSLAND – XINYUAN(BLD)

Morningdrive to Narat Grassland, and then spend some time to enjoy Narat Grassland—Thegrassland on the sky, including visiting one of the Kazak Yurts to taste themilk tea and to learn about the way & lives of Kazak people. Optional horseridding on this beautiful grassland with full of flowers. In the lateafternoon, move on to Xinyuan County, and stay in Xinyuan overnight.

Day 6, Xinyuan - Kanajun Grassland -  Zhaosu 

Drivefrom Xinyuan to Kanajun grassland in the morning, Kanajun is massive grasslandin front of snow mountain range. In June, there will be multicolor flowers allaround the grassland. You will be surprise by such a beautiful view all alongthe way. In the afternoon, we are going to visit very special Tekesi Ba Guacity, the whole city was design as a Ba Gua Map of Tai Qi. Continue to Zhaosuafter Tekesi county, we will arrive Zhaosu County and stay there overnight.

Day 7, Zhaosu - Stonemen Area - Yining 

We willleave Zhaosu in the morning, heading to Yining. On the way, grassland withgolden flowers will cover both side of the road, you are hardly to holdyourself to ask photo stops. Visit famous Zhaosu Stone men area, to explore themystery of ancient culture. After lunch, we shall begin our exploration ofYining city (also known as Ghulja) Strolling the Bazaar & Ughur EthnicStreets, wandering around old towns and small lanes of Ghulja which namedKazanqi, most of the houses have strong influences of Russian architecturalstyle here. After city visiting, we are just in time to capture the sunset atYili-River Bridge / river band. Stay overnight in Yining.

Day 8, Yining - Huiyuan Ancient City - Khorgas Pass - Lake Sayram 

Visit the Huiyuan Ancient City in the morning, also visit beautiful lavender fieldoutside the Huocheng county outside Huiyuan ancient city. After lunch, we shallmove on to Lake Sayram, en-route visiting the Khorgas Pass and drive throughsome small Kazak Nomadic Villages to enjoy the fantastic scenery of Guozhagou (Fruit Valley ) with it many pastures and pine trees along the way. A brief stopto capture some great photos of this Fruit Valley. Arrive Lake Sayram in timefor the setting sun. Free at leisure to hike along the lake. Overnight in alocal Yurt or vacation hotel on the lake side.

Day 9, LakeSayram - Karamay

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise over the Lake Sayram and have sometime to capture this Lake in the morning light. After a late breakfast, checkout and depart for Karamay. Passing through the China's second largest Gurbantunggut Desert (Gurban Tunggut) with some Photo-stops at Oil Fields. Andalong the way, photo-stop at some cotton farms. Arrived Karamay in the late afternoon just in time to watch the setting sun over the river. Dinner and anight city tour of Karamay. Overnight in Karamay.  

Day 10, Karamay - Poplar Valley - Ghost City (Urho) - Buerjin

Drive30km north of Karamay to visit the Poplar Valley, enjoy a photo session thereand continue to the Ghost City ( Urho ), visit this Yaden Landform includingtaking the little train inside. Move on to Buerjin to overnight. 

Day 11, Buerjin - Kanas

After breakfast, we will drive to Jiadengyu , the entrance town to Kanas NationalGeo-Park. The journey takes about 3 hours slow drive. After an early lunch, wewill take the shuttle bus to visit Camel Neck Bend / Huajiu Valley / Wolong(Crouching Dragon) bend / Moon Bend / Fairy Bend. Return to our hotel in Kanasfor dinner and overnight. 

Day 12, Kanas Lake - Hemu Village  

Wake up early to return into Kanas Lake: Kanas Village Transit Center - YazeLake - Fengqing Park - Pingtan Stage - T-juction Crossing - Village Government - HuanLake - Police Station - Guanyu Pavilion - Training Center Box Office - Xincun Village - Guanyu Pavilion

1. Climbup to the watch tower to see whole view of Kanas lake and surrounding areawhich takes around 1.5-2 hours

2. Hiking around lake and along the Kanas River for a few hours to include TaigaPlank corridor, Underwater Forest, Yaze Lake , Huan Lake & Xincun village.

3. Boating for an hour (optional cost ):

There after, proceed to Hemu Village. Upon arriving Hemu, climb to the view point to takeover-view photos of the village over the sunset. Check into hotel and enjoy thesurrounding and dinner in Hemu Village.  

Day 13, Hemu Village - Birch Forrest - Hemu grassland - Buerqin 

Early morning walk up to the view – point for the sun-rise photography session. Aftera late breakfast, spend some time wandering this unique wooden houses villageincluding the photo-shooting of the White Birches, pine trees, villages of Tuwapeople, wooden residences, the Hemu grassland & the Birch forest &rivers and the wooden bridge scenic area. After a late lunch, we will move onto Buerqin. Visit Wusaitan which is located about 25km from Burjin county,Wucaitan means “Multi-Colored Beach” as it is formed with many different colorsand located on the North Side of Irtysh River while South Side is luxuriantlytrees, rolling forest, the distant meandering hills and panoramic view of thedesert scenery. We will stay around in this Multi-colored Beach until sunsettime. Following dinner, we’ll take you to sample the raucous, earthy atmosphereof a famous nearby night market where we’ll taste locally caught fish fromaround Burjin county (tasting of the local fish at pax’ own expenses.) Overnitein Buerqin.

Day 14, Buerqin - Koktokay Town 

Today, we will be driving across many valleys and the GOBI towards FUYUN. Upon arriving near to Koktokay Town, we will explore some villagers nearby, off thebeaten track to capture some of these villages Birch Trees in early summer, asmall village just outside of Koktokay town. After back to Koktokay town wherewe are going to overnight, we will spend some time at the bank of river Irtyshthat run through the town. Dinner and overnite in Koktokay (Fuyun) Town.

Day 15, Koktokay National Park 

Today, we shall spend our whole day visiting Koktokay National Park and visit CocoaSullivan Lake; Irtysh Grand Canyon / Shenzhong Mt / Golden Triangle TourismSpot /etc; White Birch Woods / Shimen /Shui Mo Gou. LLaymu Lake; Kalaxianger Earthquake Fault Zone / Mine No 3; Sunset @ Irtysh River ; Overnite at Koktokay  town.

Day 16, Koktokay Town - Multicolor Hill Yarden Landform - Urumqi 

Today we will drive from Koktokay to URUMQI. Along the way, we will pass by andphoto-stop along the Gurbantuggal Desert / Kalamah Nature Reserve. And then wewill spend some time visiting the remarkable Multicolor hills Yarden Landform Wucaicheng also known as Wucaicheng, the Multi-Coloured Land. This land presents thevisitor with an artist’s composition of reds, yellows, greens, grays, blacksand whites. The multi-colored Land was one of the main locations for the OscarWinning Best Foreign language film “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon”. Stay overnight in Urumqi.
