Day 1,   KL –Almaty (Kazakhstan) (D)

We will departure from KLIA in themorning by Astana airline, arrival in Almaty at 1655 in the afternoon. Airportpicks up, dinner in local restaurant, and then transfer to hotel.


Day2,  Sightseeingin Almaty. (BLD)

Sight seeing around Almaty includesvisiting of Panfilov Park, Zenkov Cathedral, St.Nicholas Cathedral, NationalMusical Instruments Museum, Central State Museum, Almaty's Green Bazaar,Panoramic view at observatory (Medeo). The name of the Panfilov Park comesafter the heroes of Panfilov. Inside the park there is a big monument incommemoration of the heroic actions made by 28 Almaty Soldiers who died back in1941 fighting against Nazi tanks somewhere near Moscow. Zenkov Woodenconstructed Cathedral is one of the eight most unique wooden buildings in theworld. It is one of the few tzarist-era buildings to survive the 1911earthquake, despite the fact it is built entirely of wood and constructedwithout nails. Central State Museum provides an introduction to Kazakhstan'shistory and includes a miniature replica of the country's chief archeologicaltreasure, the Golden Man - a warrior's costume made from 4.000 gold pieces,many finely decorated with animal motifs. In the Museum of Musical Instrumentsone can find various national musical instruments, the oldest of which aredated from the XVII century. Medeo is a picturesque valley located 15 km aboveAlmaty. Besides beautiful nature there are some other attractions to see, oneof which is the world's largest speed skating ring know as Medeo. Transfer to ahotel in the end of city tour. Overnight.  


Day 3,  Almaty-IleAlatau Park (BLD)

The Ile-Alatau State Natural Parkwas established following a decree by the Government of the Republic ofKazakhstan dated February 22, 1996 . The park is located on northern slopes ofthe Zailiiski Alatau, close to the southern capital, Almaty. It is 120 km longfrom the Chemolgan River in the west to the TurgenRiver in the east, and 30 kmin cross direction. The whole day will be spent in picturesque valley with Picniclunch. Return to Almaty for overnight. Ile-Alatau.


Day4,   Almaty –Karakol (Kyrgyzstan)  (BLD)

After breakfast depart Almaty anddrive to Karakol (430 km, 6-7 hours) via a Karkara valley, see the naturallandscapes on the way and visit the Charyn canyon which is also known as Valleyof Castles for its unusual rock formations. The width of it ranges from 20-80meters (66 – 262 ft). The length is 2 km (1.24 mi) long. Continue driving toKarakol. Arrive to Karakol after 18.00. Overnight in a guest house. 


Day 5,   Karakol– The north Shore of Issyk Kul Lake (BLD)

In the morning there will beexcursion around Karakol: visit wooden Russian-orthodox church also known asThe Holy Trinity Cathedral, a fine example of a Russian Orthodox Church. Thebuilding consists of wooden walls on a stone foundation, and it is highlydecorative. Then we you will visit the Dungan (Chinese) mosque built by aChinese architect and 20 artisans between 1907 and 1910. It was built entirelyof wood, without a single nail. Next stop is in Prejevalskiy museum devoted tofamous Russian explorer and traveler in Central Asia. Transfer to Cholpon Ata(180 km, 2-2,5 hours) and visit Petroglyphs or Open Air Museum, sometimesreferred as a Stone Garden, which covers some 42 hectares and contains a numberof prehistoric monumental structures (stone circles, tombs, the remains of aboundary stone wall, balbals) and stone inscriptions (dating from the IImillennium BC upto the Middle Ages upto the VI century AD). Transfer to a hotelor guest house on the Northern shore of the lake. Overnight.  


Day6,   Issyk Kul–Bishkek—Tashkent (BLD)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Bishkek. On the way visitBurana Tower. It is an 11th century minaret, and one of the first buildings ofsuch type in Central Asia. Burana tower was one of the capital of Karakhanidkhanate. In Karakhanids' time new towns and settlements were developing andBurana tower, mausoleums and other buildings found after archeologicalexcavations are the witnesses of that build up. Return to Bishkek, check in tothe guest house or hotel. City tour around Bishkek. Today you can enjoy quite anumber of typical soviet-style architecture (Philharmonia – concert hall,government building, Monument for the Great War of the Native Country) but alsomodern monuments pointing out the traditional Kyrgyz culture (Monument ofManas, Monument of Independence). The city is famous being one of the greenestin Central Asia, due to its countless parks and allees, which make the town anice place to live also in the heat of the summer. Transfer to airport for flightQH 409 to Tashkent at 1915-1920. Airport pick up and then transfer toTashkent hotel. 


Day7,   Tashkent(1,5 hrs flight)-Urgench 1 hrs flight (Uzbekistan) 0800-0920 (BLD)

Transfer to airport for flight toUrgench, and transfer to Khiva, Sightseeing tour in Khiva, spend a day inUNESCO World Heritage site Ichan-Qala fortress. In Ichan-Qala fortress visitKunya-Arc, Sayeed Alauddin mausoleum, medrese Arab-Mukhamadkhan, mosqueOq-Masjid,medrese Hodjan Berdi-biya, Shirgazikhan, Abdullakhan, Juma mosque,medrese Allakulikhan, Toshkhovli palace, Pakhlavan Makhmud mausoleum, minaretIslom-khodja. Overnight.  


Day8,   Khiva-KunyaUrgench-Dashoguz-Darwaza (Turkmenistan) (BLD)

In the morning depart Khiva anddrive to Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan border Dashoguz. Crossing the border. Gothrough customs and passport control on both sides of the border. Continue toTurkmenistan, drive to Kunya-Urgench for sightseeing. Visit: Mausoleums ofTurebek-Khanym, Sultan Tekesh, Sultan Il Arslan, Najmad-din-Kubra, Sultan Ali.Discover the Kutlug Timur minaret & Kyrk Molla. Return drive to Dashoguz.Afternoon drive to Darwaza crater, the place which was called: the door ofhell. We will camping and have dinner beside the door of hell, it will become aunique experience of your life. 


Day9,  Darwaza-Ashgabat (330 km flight) –Mary (BLD)

After camp style breakfast drive toAshgabat. En route visit of Erbent desert community, experience the speciallife style of this desert tribe. Arrival in Ashgabat. A short city tour inNissa to visit the ruin from the period of Alexander the great. And then wewill take evening flight to Mary. Overnight in hotel in Mary. 


Day10,   Mary-Merv-Mary(380 km, 6 hrs)-Bukhara(Uzbekistan)  (BLD)

Drive to Bairamaly (25 km).Sightseeing ruins of ancient Merv: Alexandria, Antiochia, Sultan Kala castles,continue to the mausoleum of Talkhatan Baba XII century. Return to Mary andtransfer to Bukhara. On the way, we will cross the border between Turkmenistanand Uzbekistan, we will change to Uzbeki bus after cross the border andcontinue to Bukhara. We will stay overnight at the hotel in Bukhara. 


Day11,  Bukhara(BLD)

Today Visit includes trade domes ofBukhara. Bukhara was cultural, Islamic and trade center of central asia.  Taki Zargaron,special market place for goldenjewlwery in ancient times, but still at present you can find some modern andantique jewelry. Medrese Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan madrasa, which is famous asKosh madrasa or double madrasas facing to each other, but built in differentperiods 16 and 17 C. Tim Abdullakhan, was a covered market, nowadays it isantique shop of Carpets and silk fabrics. Taki Telpakfurushon,market of hats. Bukhara was also famous for itskarakul sheep’s fur and this market was the special place for that.  Magoki-Attori mosque, used to be temple ofBhuddist, bazaar of spices and mosque. At present it is museum of carpets ofCentral Asia and Uzbekistan. Taki Sarafon, money exchange center, during silkroad trades it was used as an exchange market and even now you can find modernbanks for exchange or cash withdrawal. Lyabi Hauz Complex including NadirDivan Begi medresah and Khanaqa, also known as Jewish community center, whereyou can visit Jewsh school and synagogue. medrese Chor-Minor. Overnight at the hotel. 


Day12,  Bukhara-Samarkand (270 km, 4 hrs) (BLD)

In the morning drive to Samarkand (4hours). En route a short stop at Rabbati Malik Caravansaray of 11 C andSardoba.  Arrival to Samarkand, visit GurEmir Mausoleum, Bibi Hanum mosque and bazaar. Overnight. 


Day13,   Full daysightseeing Samarkand—train to Tashkent (BLD)

Samarkand, the capital of ancientSogdiana, is one of the oldest cities in the world, of the same age as Rome,Athens and Babylon, estimated 25 centuries old. During those centuries the cityhas survived many great and dramatic events. Samarkand saw Saka and Massagets,Greeks and Macedonians, Karakitais, Arab commanders and hordes of Genghis Khan.Under Amir Timur's rule, Samarkand became the capital of his huge empire. TheGreat Silk Road went through the city. Hsuan Tsang visited Samarkand on his wayto India. Visit Famous Registan Square-knownfrom the 13th century AD as a bazaar square, was the centre of trade andcultural life in medieval Samarkand. It is surrounded by 3 madrasahs ofdifferent periods.  Bazaar, Shakhi-Zinda Complex,Ulugbek observatory. Afrosiab Site & Museum: It is the area of 212 hectaresmostly hilly surrounded by a moat. Here was situated ancient Afrosiab (old nameof Samarkand). It had existed from 6th century BC till the 13th AD. Nowarchaeologists here continuously conduct excavations. The museum displays: themodel of ancient city and fortress walls, pottery, weaponry, coinage, altarsand most of all the mural painting of the 7th century. Evening at 1600 transferto train station to get to Tashkent by Afrosiab train at 1700-1910. Transfer tohotel in Tashkent, overnight.


Day14,  Samarkand-Tashkent 300 km, 4,5 hrs (BLD)

City tour in Tashkent in themorning, then transfer to airport for departure flight to KUL at 2115.  


Day15, ArriveKL in the morning.
